The Kurara group is a hallmark of the modern Ural music scene. They have released ten studio albums to date, with the latest release, "PP", being released in late summer 2023 and celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2024.

In 2012, they opened for British musician Tricky during his Russian tour, performing in four cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. Their song "Kurara Chibana" was used as the title track for the TV series "Dead Lake" and the film "The Man from Podolsk", which begins with the song "Us Two". This song was also awarded at the Kinotavr festival in 2020 for its soundtrack. Their ninth album, "Brutus", made it to the top 10 albums of the month according to Kommersant, Colta, and Forbes.
